The plate heat exchanger is well known as one of the most efficient heat exchanger designs.Plate heat exchanger operation are high heat transfer efficiency, compact size, design flexibility, low fouling (as a result of plate pattern turbulence) and low lifecycle cost. A typical heat transfer coefficient for a plate heat exchanger may be four to five times higher than that of a shell and tube design.

Used for small district heating, beverage cooling, food and pharmaceutical production and low duty oil cooling applications.
